Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 2

It looks like I spoke too. It turns out that the Galaxy Note Pro won’t be alone when it launches on the 13th. It turns out the Samsung Tab Pro will also be launching the same day. The Galaxy Note Pro only exists in the 12.2 inch size while the Tab Pro exists in 8.4, 10.1, and 12.2 variants. These tablets are up for pre-order right now and will be available in variety of retail outlets like Fry’s Electronics, Best Buy, Walmart and Newegg. These models will also be wi-fi only at launch as LTE models will have to go through carrier approval.

Prices for these tablets vary as you would imagine. Starting the lower end and sizes the Tab 8.4 (16GB) is $400, 10.1 inch Tab (16GB) is $500 and the 12.2 inch Tab (32GB) is $650. Those of you who are clamoring for the 12.2 inch screen and S-Pen can again grab the Note Pro (32GB) or (64GB) for $750 and $850 respectively. Samsung wants to make sure that you get a lot of goodies when you pick these up so you can look forward to 50GB of Dropbox storage for 2 years, $25 Google Play credit, 3 month trial of Hulu Plus, six months of Cisco WebEx Premium 8 and a years subscription of Bloomberg Businessweek.

These tables come with Samsung’s new Magazine UX and Android 4.4 Kit Kat on board. Despite the near a grand pricing of the Note Pro series, these tablets should do very well when they launch next week.
